Oral Candidiasis

Mouth fungus is one of the most common oral diseases in infants and children. Although there is a low probability, there is a possibility of oral fungus in adults. It is usually characterized by white-looking areas located on the inside of the lips, inside the cheeks, gums and tongue. Mouth fungus can show serious symptoms in people with immune deficiency, but its clinical course is generally mild. Drugs that affect the immune system, dry mouth, vitamin deficiencies, malnutrition and incompatible dental prostheses predispose to oral yeast infection. Oral diseases related to the use of dental prosthesis and palate are very common, especially in elderly individuals. Oral yeast infection is treated with medication. Early diagnosis is important for rapid recovery. In addition to drug therapy, nutrition regulation and regeneration of incompatible dentures are often recommended in the fight against oral diseases.
